Choosing a career in the science, trades and technology sectors can be difficult. With so many options available, the Pre-Technology program gives you the time and confidence to find a career path that is right for you. This exciting one-year Ontario College Certificate program allows you to delve into various areas of technology and will help you prepare for and decide on your next step. You’ll study with a hands-on approach, exploring a variety of technology subjects such as AutoCAD, practical electronics, welding, machining, computer applications, health and safety, physics and transportation. In addition, you’ll discover pathways to career programs in the Faculty of Technology, including Building Technology, Applied Science and Technology, Transportation Technology, Aviation and Aerospace Technology as well as some technology programs offered at the Regional Campuses.
