Studying mathematics will help you build your ability to think logically and critically and have persistence and creativity in doing so, skills that are important in many fields. You’ll study basic algebra, pre-calculus and calculus, introductory statistics, discrete mathematics for computing science, mathematics for prospective elementary school teachers and mathematics for liberal arts, as well as take electives in other subject areas.
